21st Century Connections Presents the Winners from the “Be a Video All-Star” Contest

How important is technology to today’s 21st century student? These winning videos from K-12 students showcase why digital learning tools are crucial to schools and curriculum.
Offered by Lenovo, Intel, Adobe, and Futurekids and hosted by Technology & Learning, the 21st Century Connections Multimedia Contest challenged students to create a two- to three-minute public service announcement that illustrates why digital tools and technologies are important in the schools and curriculum. First place winning students will receive a laptop from Lenovo featuring Intel® Centrino® Pro processor Technology and Adobe Digital School Collection software.

Digital technology is important for schools for many reasons. For example digital technology can be used to look up information on the web to find out more about a subject. Second, if teachers have computers and an e-mail address they can be e-mailed about assignments and homework. Finally typing is usually faster than writing and it is definitely neater.
